Overview

Merci Natex is a Lebanese film set in a remote mountain village, following Farès, a modest farmer who works his land with his wife Salma and their three children. When Farès wins a contest organized by a paper handkerchief brand, he receives a mysterious gift in an enormous wooden crate. What seems like a stroke of good fortune turns out to be a disruptive force that forever alters the quiet rhythms of village life and tests the bonds of family and community. A charming and thought-provoking film about how unexpected change can unsettle even the most peaceful of worlds.
