Looking Awry (Again), is a 2005 Palestinian movie, directed by Sobi al-Zobaidi. with a runtime of 31 minutes.
Looking Awry (Again) is a documentary in which a Palestinian filmmaker accepts a commission from an American organization to portray Jerusalem as a city of peace and Jewish-Arab coexistence. What follows is a study in the impossibility of that assignment: at every turn, the reality the filmmaker encounters on the ground contradicts the image he has been asked to construct. The film becomes a meta-examination of representation, power, and the politics of storytelling — asking who gets to define a city's narrative and what is lost, distorted, or erased when an external vision is imposed on a lived reality.
