No More Fear, is a 2011 Tunisian movie, directed by Mourad Ben Cheikh. with a runtime of 72 minutes.
No More Fear is a landmark documentary by Tunisian filmmaker Mourad Ben Cheikh, shot in real time as the Tunisian Revolution unfolded in December 2010. Fuelled by mass frustration over unemployment, economic instability, rampant government corruption, and the steady erosion of civil liberties under President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali — who had ruled since seizing power in a 1987 coup — the protests rapidly escalated until Ben Ali was ousted by the end of January 2011. Ben Cheikh was the first filmmaker to bring a theatrical documentary about the uprising to cinemas, weaving together newsreel footage of the demonstrations, candid interviews with key figures in the movement, testimonies from ordinary Tunisians, and an intimate look at an artist creating a visual collage to immortalise the revolution. A defining film of the Arab Spring.
