Overview

Fifteen is a short Egyptian drama film that speaks volumes through silence. On a sweltering Cairo summer day, a taciturn teenage boy makes his way through the city's relentless crowds, carrying a baby. His arrival at a hospital sets the stage for a quietly devastating unravelling of the trauma concealed beneath his composed exterior. Spare in dialogue and rich in visual storytelling, the film is a compassionate and unflinching examination of psychological pain, capturing the weight a young person can carry when circumstances demand they grow up too fast.
