Overview

Obsession is an Arabic psychological drama series that takes a disturbing look at grief, obsession, and the boundaries of identity. When Ziad's wife Rama is involved in a serious accident that leaves her in a coma, he cannot accept the reality of her absence. In a descent into fixation, he identifies a woman who was already seeking cosmetic surgery and convinces her to undergo a radical physical transformation to become an exact replica of his comatose wife. The series raises deeply unsettling questions about what love becomes when it crosses into obsession, what identity means when it can be surgically reconstructed, and the ethical collapse of a man who refuses to let go.
