Overview

Ghobar (Dust) is a tightly wound Arabic psychological drama that follows Majed, an actor immersed in filming a movie, whose world is shattered when he learns on a dusty, desolate day that his young son has been sexually harassed. Dropping everything, Majed embarks on a desperate and emotionally charged search for the perpetrator — the contrast between his composed on-screen persona and his raw, anguished reality as a father forming the film's emotional core. A restrained but piercing exploration of parental vulnerability, helplessness in the face of a child's suffering, and the inner storms that rage beneath composed exteriors.
