But his fixation extends far beyond the arena, poisoning his marriage as he increasingly expects his wife to exist in service of his roosters. The film is a sharp and unflinching examination of how obsession erodes dignity and distorts relationships, using the brutal world of cockfighting as a metaphor for control, ego, and the damage they leave behind.
