Overview

Belomondo is an Arabic comedy film centered on a man in his thirties who seizes on his wife's absence — she has traveled to give birth — as the perfect opportunity to throw a small gathering at a friend's house. What begins as an intimate, manageable get-together quickly spirals out of control as the guest list balloons beyond anyone's expectations, turning the modest party into full-scale mayhem. The film mines comic gold from the escalating chaos as its hapless protagonist scrambles to contain a situation that grows more unmanageable by the minute.
