The events revolve around the Queen of Sheba (Bilqis), and the events take place in the last years of the reign of King “Al-Hadhaad,” the father of “Bilqis,” who was tyrannical and weak at the same time. During his reign, the country witnessed weakness that included various aspects of military, economic, and administrative life, at a time when the rivalry between the leaders of the Yemeni and Ethiopian tribes led to the disdain of the central state and its lack of control over the reins of affairs, and the king lost his crown prince prisoner in Abyssinia before it intensified. He fell ill and died, leaving the throne to his daughter, Bilqis. Queen Bilqis faced events that witnessed military tensions and tribal wars, but she was able, with her intelligence and wisdom, to triumph in them and unite the country under her leadership until Yemen was known during her reign as Happy Yemen.
