Overview

Beit Ithnan Thalatha is a personal documentary in which Ruba, raised in an exiled family, confronts the inherited memories and hardships she absorbed from her mother's experience of displacement. Caught in a cycle of perpetual alienation, she embarks on a process of deconstructing those memories in order to craft a new personal narrative — one that might finally allow her to feel at home. Yet as she peels back these layers, a provocative question emerges: does life lose its allure once you are no longer a stranger? A moving meditation on identity, memory, and the complex nature of belonging.
