Batman at the Checkpoint, is a 2012 Israeli movie, directed by Rafael Balulu, and starring Yoav Sadian, Michel Abou Maneh, Roy Turgeman. with a runtime of 10 minutes.
Batman at the Checkpoint is an Israeli-Palestinian short film set at a military checkpoint at the entrance to Jerusalem. When an Israeli car and a Palestinian car are both stuck in traffic returning from the Dead Sea, their seven-year-old passengers — Yuval and Mahmoud — naturally begin to play together, oblivious to the divisions that define their world. But when their fathers' road rage escalates into a collision, the children's simple game transforms into an all-out battle over a plastic Batman doll. The film uses this absurdist premise as a sharp and poignant metaphor for the wider conflict, told through the innocent eyes of childhood.
