Noce d'été is an Algerian drama following Hamid, a journalist in his late thirties who resists marriage as an escape from the bourgeois family life he despises. When the ceremony finally arrives, he abandons his young bride on their wedding night, leaving unresolved questions about identity, freedom, and the cost of social conformity at the heart of this intimate character study.
