Overview

Nothing Happens After That is a drama short film about Thomas, a bereaved father in the grip of grief, desperately trying to arrange a final resting place for his only child. In a cruel twist, when he arrives to complete this most intimate of tasks, he discovers that today — for reasons beyond his control — is simply not the right day. The film distils unbearable loss into a single, focused encounter with bureaucracy, bad timing, and the absurdity that grief must navigate in order to find any form of closure. A restrained and emotionally precise work about a father trying to do one last thing for the child he has lost.
