Overview

Aziza is an Arabic drama film inspired by a true story set during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990. Two brothers choose to stay behind and care for the animals of Kuwait's zoo as chaos engulfs the city around them. At the heart of their mission is Aziza, an elephant who becomes the focal point of an extraordinary bond, who is gravely wounded when shot by Iraqi soldiers. The brothers fight to save her life, turning their act of compassion into an act of resistance.
