Al-Raha'in (The Hostages) is an Arabic thriller about two young men who plan to elope and marry against their families' wishes. To fund their escape, they attempt to rob a bank — but their plan collides with a far more dangerous heist carried out by a large criminal gang that storms the bank at the same moment, taking everyone inside hostage, including the two lovebirds. The hostages are transported by boat to a remote island, and during this tense journey, hidden truths about each character begin to surface, secrets are exposed, and dangerous dynamics emerge. What begins as a romantic escape turns into a desperate fight for survival in this gripping, character-driven thriller.
