The Empress is an Arabic social drama that follows Faisal, an ordinary man who is abruptly elevated into elite circles when a powerful businessman recruits him as a trusted partner and protector. Their relationship is transactional from the start — the businessman gains a loyal enforcer, while Faisal enjoys access to a world of wealth and status far beyond his origins. The arrangement holds until the businessman decides Faisal has outlived his usefulness and moves to eliminate him, forcing Faisal to confront the true nature of the power dynamics he has been operating within. The series is a probing look at loyalty, class mobility, and the ruthless logic of those who occupy the highest rungs of wealth.
