Two Sisters is an Egyptian comedy built around one woman's desperate need for a cigarette. Failed actress Nour has been strong-armed by her sister into quitting smoking and dragged, against her will, to an extravagant birthday party full of unfamiliar faces. As social pressure mounts and her nerves fray, Nour's single-minded hunt for a cigarette sends her spiraling through a series of increasingly absurd encounters, making for a sharp and hilarious portrait of anxiety, sibling dynamics, and the fragility of willpower.
