
An Egyptian writer, born on April 4, 1931, in the Heliopolis neighborhood in Cairo. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in the English Language Department and a diploma in translation from Cairo University. In addition to her literary and artistic production, she worked at the Ministry of Economy and then at the Capital Market Authority from the time of her graduation until the end of her term of service. She obtained a diploma in investment negotiations from Georgetown University in 1977. She received the Arab League Award for her participation in writing the screenplay for the film Cairo 30, her most famous work.
