Toni Issa

A Lebanese actor and singer, born in Amchit. His father is the actor Nazem Issa. He grew up in a village called Ba’ashta. He lived there for about 12 years. He studied at the Frere School until the second middle school grade. During this period, he accompanied his father, who was an actor and director of artistic productions. He became a contemporary of the old theatre, such as: Nabih Abu Al-Hassan Theater and others. Then he completed the middle stage in the Amchit Theater, and from there to Amchit High School, after which he studied management. Hotels at Qortbawi Institute. He began studying music at the age of eight, then became a student at the conservatory. He learned to play instruments and strong percussion, such as the tambourine and the drum. After that, he studied solfege and percussion at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. At first, he worked in singing and gave many private concerts, but later he turned to acting, where he performed a song in the play “On the Land of the Gypsies” with the Rahbani family. His actual debut as an actor was in the series Ya Maleh Ba Bahr, directed by Tanios Abi Hatem In November 2015, he participated in the Celebrity Duets program (season four) to support a charity and won the title. In April 2016, he released his first song entitled “They Were the Moon.” He also presented the competitions program “Ahlia Bi Mohaliya” on Al Jadeed TV in 2016. The Iraqi artist Shatha Hassoun participated in the clip for the song “Mazyoun” in 2015, and the artist George Wassouf participated in the clip of “The Hardest Parting” in 2012. Awards: 2011: An honorary award in Nabatieh - South Lebanon, for his role in the series “The Overcomers” 2014: Best Actor in a Second Role Award, shared equally with Lebanese actor Wissam Hanna 2015: Best Lebanese Actor Award for his role in the series “Ishq Al-Nissa”.
