A Palestinian-Jordanian actress, chosen by Screen International magazine as part of the fourth edition of the Arab Stars of Tomorrow program presented by the magazine during the 42nd session of the Cairo International Film Festival 2020. She began acting when she was 10 years old, through a number of short films, including From Behind the Door by director Moataz Matar, and Log in by director Tima Al Shomali, then she appeared in a major role in the film The Princess of the Mountains by director Amjad Al Rasheed; These are the graduation projects of these directors from the Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts. After that, Tara Abboud participated in two other graduation films by directors from the SAE Institute in Amman: the film 12 Centimeters by director Zaid Khaled, and the film Life by director Lynn Awad, and both films won awards. Tara's most recent television work is the Jordanian series Obour (2019), which reunited her with star Saba Mubarak.
