He worked at the beginning of his artistic career as an assistant director with Ahmed Galal since 1949, and also with Ahmed Diaa El-Din, Saif El-Din Shawkat, and Abdullah Barakat. He composed for radio, television, and theater. He participated in many films in cinema. He directed a number of documentaries, the first of which was “The Land for the Farmer” in 1966.
