A Syrian singer and actress, born in the city of Latakia in 1957. She began her artistic career in 1977 in one of the Lebanese variety programs, entitled (Between Twenty and Forty), prepared by director Simon Asmar. She performed many songs in the 1980s and 1990s, most notably (Sarah, Mbtasalshi, and Zahi Qamarna). She broke into acting in 1983 by participating in the film Revenge for Love, and then continued her work after that, the most prominent of which are the film The Poisoned Family Home (1986), the series It Sells That (1989), and Days of Laughter and Tears (1998).
