
A Moroccan singer, born in Rabat in 1959. She began singing when she was eight years old in 1967 when she participated in a talent program on Moroccan television with the composer (Abdelnabi Al-Jirari), who was her true discoverer. She released her first song the following year entitled (We Complain to Our Loved Ones), then released her first album in 1970 entitled (Meeting). She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, French Department in Morocco, then traveled to Egypt in 1978, where she collaborated. With major composers, including (Mohamed Al-Mougy, Mohamed Sultan, Baligh Hamdi), she released many albums and singles in the eighties, the most famous of which are (Come Two Days Later, I Will Not Give Up on You), followed by her albums in the nineties, the most prominent of which is the album (Aalbal) in 1998. She presented the song (Youm after Youm) with Cheb Mami in 2002, which achieved great success. Among her most prominent songs are also (Queeny Bey, Tell Ya). Scheherazade, still), participated in the jury of the talent program (Sawt Al Hayat) in 2012 alongside composer Helmy Bakr and singer Hani Shaker. She has one experience in the field of acting through the movie (I Will Write Your Name in the Sand) in 1979.
