
Kuwaiti actress and broadcaster, of Iraqi origin, born February 20, 1951. She worked in many plays with the Arab Theater Group. She retired from acting in 1990, and continued to work as a news broadcaster on Kuwait Radio. Her works include the theater actress “A Husband Wanted” in 1971, and the TV series “Sharbaka” in 1972. She is the eldest sister from an artistic family. Her brothers (Najat, Ibtisam, Hoda, Sahar, and Abdul Karim) work in the field of art between acting, writing, directing, composing, and production. Her husband, director and playwright Fouad Al-Shatti, and her three children (Osama, Ahmed, and Aws) also work in the field of art between directing, acting, and writing.
