
Rashad Hejazy
Egyptian writer and author, born October 6, 1912.
He is the author of many plays, films, and radio and television series. He is one of the most important writers of his time. He participated in many works that were implemented, including radio series (Zaqzouq and His Sons on Eid - The Villa of Teacher Ghorab), and many radio evenings. He also had many contributions as a playwright for many plays, the most famous and important of which was the play (The Hornet) in 1964, which starred the artist Abu Bakr Ezzat and the artist Laila Taher and directed it. Artist Abdel Moneim Madbouly.
He also contributed to writing and composing some of the first television series, such as (Aila Si Jumaa series).
He had been promoted to many positions in the Ministry of Haqqaniya and the Ministry of Education, but he began writing stories in 1940. He won a state award for short stories for a work of nonfiction in 1949, but fate did not give him a path of literary and artistic endeavors, and he died at the age of sixty years.
