
An Egyptian actress, born on August 24, 1925, into a large family. She lived a miserable childhood after her parents divorced. She got married early and worked in art, which was the reason for her divorce. She traveled to America, marrying the actor Saad Ardash, whose name is Hoda Ismail Al-Shimi. She studied at the Drama Institute in the United States, then returned to Egypt to work at the National Theater. She has several cinematic works, including: “Hearts of People,” “Sham El-Nessim,” and “In Your Hands.” She worked in the Tahrir Theater with Youssef Wehbe, and her plays include “Caligula” and “Soft Hands.” Her role in the movie (In Your Hands) with “Magda” and directed by “Youssef Chahine” remains an unforgettable role. She left our world in 2009.
