Osama Raouf

Egyptian singer, born in Cairo in the early 1940s. He moved with his family to Alexandria after 4 years. Hafez Abdel Wahab, head of Alexandria Radio at that time, heard him sing in one of the school concerts while he was studying at Mohamed Karim School in Smouha. He was approved as a singer on Alexandria Radio in 1961, and in the same year he recorded his first songs. He moved to Cairo Radio and recorded his first with them. His songs in 1965, and he participated in singing in the movie “Muntaha Al Farah” with director Mohamed Salem.
