Nadia Salem

An Egyptian director and writer, she obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Journalism, in 1969, then a diploma from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Department of Directing, in 1979. She began her artistic career as a director of documentary films at the Egyptian Film Center, the first of which was the film (The Naughty Child) in 1982. After that, she made her only experience in feature films through the film (The Management Owner, the Building’s Concierge) in 1985. She also directed documentary films. Others are: (the red jinn, Zar, the Great Wall of Egypt).
