An Egyptian actress who appeared in Egyptian cinema during the first half of the 1950s, of French origins. Her family refused her entry into the arts and her continuing her acting career, so she was forced to retire. She married a Syrian man in 1956 and gave birth to her daughter Camelia in 1962, her son Samer in 1966, and her second daughter Yasmine in 1970. From her works, Slaves of Money, I am Love. Mona was ill in 1992, and she sought treatment in Spain because she suffered from a rare type of asthma, until she passed away in 1993.
