Mohamed Attia

Mohamed Attia is an Egyptian singer-turned-actor whose career launched out of a televised talent contest while he was still in his second year at Cairo University. After passing the early auditions for Star Academy Arabia's debut season, he relocated to Lebanon for four months on the show — emerging as the first-ever winner in the competition's history. The win brought a recording deal with Star System and a debut album titled "I Am the Lover," which carried his name across the wider Arab music scene. He soon returned to Cairo and crossed into cinema, taking a role in the 2005 comedy "Private Lesson" before headlining "Let's Get Singing!" — a one-two on-screen debut that anchored a parallel acting career alongside his music.
