Mohamed Al Shami

Egyptian director and author, born in 1948. He obtained a diploma from the Higher Institute of Ballet in 1970, and a diploma from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Department of Directing, in 1976. He began his artistic career as a screenwriter and dialogue writer since 1982 in several films in collaboration with Saeed Muhammad, including (A Very Special Invitation) in 1982, and (Forbidden Games) in 1984. He directed a number of documentary films, including The Artist and Nature in 1984 and Tattoo, Television, and The Village in 1987.
