Merna al-Mohandes

Egyptian actress. She began her artistic career working in the field of advertising at the age of nine with Hussein Helmy Al-Muhandis, and she added the title of Engineer to her name after him. She studied at Al-Salam College, then at the Ballet Institute, and then joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. The audience knew her through her roles in the series Arabesque and Sakin Qasadi. After that, she worked for years in television drama, and participated in several works, including (Abu El-Ela 90, Wanis Diaries, Daughters of My Ideas, and Amo Fouad, editor-in-chief). She also worked in cinema in many films, including (Ayazan, The Academy, The Day We Met, and Jeeran Al-Saad). She died on August 5, 2015 due to colon cancer.
