Khaled Al Kammar

An Egyptian musician, born in 1990, he began his work in cinema in 2012 immediately after graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the German University. In 2016, he topped his class when he obtained a Master’s degree in soundtrack composition from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom, with distinction, and is currently preparing for his doctorate in the United Kingdom. He is the first Egyptian to receive the Hollywood Music in Media Award for the music of the series Cain. Among his most important works are: (Beyond Nature), (The Thief of Baghdad), (The Owner of the Maqam), the series (Cain), the film (Decor), which won the Best Soundtrack Award at the Catholic Festival in 2015, and (Asham), which won the Best Music Award at the Film Society Festival 2014. He also worked as an assistant to some of the most important music composers in the Arab world in a number of works, including the series (Eugenie Nights), (Afrah Al-Qubba), (Al-Khanka), and the films (Made in Egypt) and (No Moazha).
