Syrian singer. She was born in the town of Al-Malikiyah to a Chaldean family, and grew up in Aleppo. She immigrated with her family to Sweden in 2003, where she worked as an activist in the field of human rights and social assistance through the International Red Cross in Sweden. Her fame began to appear widely in 2014 after she released a joint song with her sister, Rayhan Younan, entitled (For My Country), in which they reviewed the effects of war and destruction on peoples. This song was translated into several languages and was broadcast on international television channels and was shown in a number of schools.
