Essam Al Gamblaty

Egyptian author, playwright, film and television writer, born February 24, 1941. A graduate of the Faculty of Law, he presented important series for television, most notably (My Dear Sons... Thank You), while for cinema he wrote scripts for films (The Mulberries and the Bottoms, Aswar Al-Madabagh), while for the theater he wrote works such as (Abboud Abdo Abboud, The Soul and the Thief), and for radio he wrote series: (The Age of Love, Abu Al-Rish in the Living Market, She Lived Between His Fingers, and Dreams in Comfortable Installments). He worked until his death as an employee with the rank of Undersecretary in a reinforced cement company. He was the son of the poet Ali Al-Jambalati, and he had a daughter named (Ghada), a graduate of theatrical arts, and a son (Ali), a graduate of the College of Commerce.
