
A popular Egyptian singer, who began her artistic activity at the end of the fifties, and joined Reda Folklore Band, and gained wide fame with its song “Oh Hazrat Al-Umda” and among its most famous songs “The nightingale sang on the ears of crops” and “We are the ones who struck us.” "Hawa Doku" and "Ring of Anklets". She participated in singing in Egyptian cinema in the films “Blood on the Nile” in 1961, “The Game of Love and Marriage” in 1964, and “Imtithal” in 1972. She also recorded songs in the Iraqi dialect, and mixed Egyptian and Libyan heritage in a number of her songs.
