The satirical writer and poet Ashraf Tawfiq was born in Mansoura on January 6, 1981. He published a collection of poetry entitled “A Messenger for My Love.”
And two satirical books, “Happy, Egypt?!” “Perhaps, perhaps!”
He participated in writing several sit-coms and comedy programmes, including: the sit-com “Forbidden, Baba”, the “100.7” programme, and the “Nashrat Al-Farakh” programme, which was broadcast on Al-Qahira wa Al-Nas channel in Ramadan 2011.
He also wrote the movie “Good Luck” starring Ahmed Eid
