
Egyptian actor-director, born on September 13, 1962. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in directing from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Directing Department, in 1985. He worked as an assistant director in 15 feature films between the years 1984 - 1988, such as “The Monsters Run” by Ali Abdel Khaleq in 1987. He worked as general manager of United Cinemas International in London between 1991-1994, then a coordinator in a production company in Cairo between 1995-1997, and made many short documentary films, including “The Bridge” and “The Sun Doesn’t Rise Tomorrow.” His films: “Balad Al-Banat” in 2008 were screened at the Cairo Film Festival in the same year in which it was directed.
