A writer and visual artist who holds a doctorate in business administration, and has many books, in addition to her participation in many individual and group fine art exhibitions. Amal Siddiq Afifi was born in England, but spent most of her school years in Egypt. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Cairo University, then a Master’s in Business Administration from the American University, and finally a Doctorate from Aston University in England. She has many research and publications in the field of business administration. She began her life writing for children and then moved on to writing novels, including “One Day.” Amal Afifi participated with Mr. Hisham Issawi in writing the screenplay and dialogue for the film ((Exit from Cairo)). The film won an Achievement Award from the 2010 Dubai Film Festival. The film also won the Best Non-European Film Award at the European Independent Film Festival. Her works include the film The Price and the series Heba Man Al-Ghurab.
