
An Egyptian singer, her real name is Taqwa Hussein Abdel Fadil, and she was born in 16 September 1912, and she was one of the first to sing on the Egyptian radio when it opened on May 31, 1934, and great composers such as Mahmoud Al-Sharif, Riad Al-Sunbati, Ahmed Sidqi, Zakaria Ahmed, and Muhammad Al-Qasabji composed for her. One of the most beautiful things she sang is (Long stay up, O night, O pilgrims of God’s house, O rising of happiness, rejoice for me, O of O, O of Jaba, may you grant us goodness and peace, the heart that I share with you, don’t be easy on me and I will not be easy on you, O my tears, increase my fortune that is in my hands). She visited many Arab countries and sang in them, as well as performing many roles and performing them well. She participated in and sang in many Egyptian films, such as (Determination) 1939, (I Love Mistakes) 1942, and (Rabha) 1945.
