Egyptian director. She is one of the pioneers of dramatic directing in Egypt and the Middle East. She was born in 1937 in Mansoura. She began working in directing with the beginning of television in 1960 as an assistant director with the artist Mahmoud Morsi, and also as an assistant director to director Nour Al-Demerdash. Then she began her journey with directing, where she directed series considered a landmark in Egyptian television, including (Among the Crowd, Watch Proof, The Years, Autumn Beach, The Second Meeting, Three on a Train, Qashtamur, Goodbye Spring of Life, A Sparkle in the Clouds, and The Most Precious People). She received several awards from the state, including the Republic Medal, First Class, the State Encouragement Award, and other awards and honors.
