She broke into working in Egyptian cinema for only one year, in 1954, as a result of which she starred in three films: “April Fools” 1954, “Hassan, Morcos, and Cohen” 1954, and “Insan Ghalban” 1954. Her grandfather, the old composer Muhammad Othman, her uncle, the distinguished artist Aziz Othman, and her husband, Adly Al-Mawlid, the screenwriter and film producer. “Aida Othman” can be seen in the role of Bilqis in the movie “Hassan, Morcos, and Cohen” 1954.
